Artistic Quirks!
One of the delights of Finca Fantastica is
the attention to detail paid by a former owner of the house. An artist,
innovative and enthusiastic, he has created unexpected surprises throughout.
The Gaudi Bathroom
One of the most impressive is the
Gaudi Bathroom. Taking inspiration from Barcelona's Antoni Gaudi
(1852-1926), world-renowned for changing the skyline of Barcelona with his
infamous cathedral of the Segrada Familia and other visionary eccentricities, a
bathroom has been created like no other!
With not a straight line to be seen, tiled with small mosaic pink and grey
tiles on every surface (except floor and ceiling), the bathroom reflects
Gaudi's inimitable, playful style. Some love it - some even hate it ...
but you will not be unmoved!

Lily Lights
An interesting touch is the organic/looking
light sculpture outside the kitchen. A lily of some 2 metres tall, two of
the flowers with light bulbs in ... possibly not the sort of thing you expect at
an old finca ... but somehow it all seems to right in a place where you don't
know what to expect next!
Patio Doors
From the garden room onto the roofed
patio are arched double doors, the metal formwork again reflecting Gaudi's love of
organic shapes. Totally unique.
