WE are really glad to have found this lovely retreat. We
hope to return and next time for longer. A week is not long enough! We love
the unique seclusion, peace and quite, and rustic charm.
We made the
mistake one day of driving to the coast and regretted not staying in our
little haven and was glad to return.
We haven't watched
TV all week and switched it only on the last day to check the time for
our flight home. Thanks to Rob and Alan & Colleen for your help and
hospitality. Hope to see you soon,

Having arrived feeling anxious and tense from our busy
fast lives back home, we find ourselves leaving your lovely house feeling
fully re-charged, relaxed and happy!! We totally agree with
your previous visitors, in particular Paul and Mandy Grace. Couldn't have
worded it better!! :) :)

It was the best holiday we have had in a
very long time. It was perfect, in the sense that there was no one for miles
and we could just be! The wildlife kept us entertained, House Martins diving
over the pool, the crickets and geckos and so many different birds. We enjoyed
ripe almonds from the trees, swimming and sunbathing. But best of all we
enjoyed the much needed feeling of peace and quiet! It was good to know that
Colleen and Alan were just a phone call away if we needed them, and much
thanks to them for such a great introduction to the surrounding area, the
house and all its little quirks. Thank you for a great holiday, we will be
back next year!*

A quiet place in a wild area....We easily
imagine Zorro on the hill. Short but great stay out of daily life. We will be
back!

We
loved the place. A place to escape to. More peace and tranquillity than we
could imagine. Just to be back to nature. Fascinating trees, plants and
wildlife. Silence broken by the wind, insects (grateful for the netting) a
few planes and the odd bike.
Taking 3 or 4 dips in
the pool everyday, sometimes joined by House Martins! An interesting drive
added to the “specialness” of the finca. Comfortable and well equipped with
almost everything we needed. Plus the right amount of attention from Colleen
and Alan, thank you.
Not mainstream – a
place for the connoisseur!

A week of total seclusion, peace and
privacy! And in a house with its own quirks and character! Marvellous!! J
Being “crowded” (!) by the occasional quad bikers (dots on the far side of the
hills), and once by “man on a moped” putt-putting up the hill opposite the
patio. We quickly got up as the sun came over one side – and went to bed when
it went down on the other! We have talked, sunbathed, slept, ate, sunbathed,
splashed in the pool – and then started all over again!!
You ought to market this wonderful place
as a retreat: from the day-to-day rushing around; from the lack of just
sitting- and for relationships to have the time to appreciate why us two
lovebirds have spent so long together. IT has bee a great week for both of us
to have the time, space and freedom from routine and inhibitions and people –
and to find how much we love and respect one another )with the time and
absence of interruptions to learn a whole let more!!)
A wonderful place to be us! (and wonderful
that the screens keep out all the flying things!!)
